This item: This storyboard was part of my process for creating the Biology eLearning module that also appears in the portfolio.

Client: a student project for my instructional design program at Loyola University Chicago.

Learners: students in an Advanced Placement or honors course in high school biology. Students at this stage will have at least some background knowledge of photosynthesis, food webs, biomolecules, and acid-base chemistry.

Design rationale: The storyboard shows my process for structuring a lesson: connect to prior knowledge, break down new knowledge into steps, ensure the learner has the needed terminology and background, demonstrate relationships, and ask the learner to cement the knowledge by applying it to a new situation.

Tools: Created in PowerPoint, with assistance from Copilot for some graphic elements.
